- On soil or curbs: Dig a 3″ × 6″ trench upstream, place the tail, pin every 4 ft and at section joints, spraypaint pin locations for easy removal, backfill over the tail.
- On hard surfaces: Clear debris, fold tail over a steel strip or wood plank, anchor with 2¾″ concrete screws every 4 ft after drilling pilot holes.
- Sections interlock via fabric sleeves for a continuous barrier.
